Hattersley Football Club Presentation Evening 2007 Hattersley Football Club celebrated yet another successful season with their Annual Presentation Evening on Friday 13th July at the Longdendale Recreation Centre, Hattersley. The evening was held to celebrate the success of the 2006/07 season, during which their was a number of achievements including the Under 15’s winning their league, whilst remaining unbeaten all season. The Under 12’s who reached the final of the league cup. Daniel Mitchell winning the Pwllheli 2007 tournament magic moment award, and Michael Lonergan who was voted the Tameside League player of the season. The event which was sponsored by the Longdendale & Hattersley District Assembly was attended by 300 players, parents, family and volunteers, and a disco went on for the remainder of the evening. Local Councillor Sean Parker Perry was in attendance, and helped to present the awards which included the ‘Players Player of the Year’ ‘Most Improved Player’ ‘Managers Player’ and ‘Most Outstanding Player’ for each age group, as well as an individual momentum for each player, and the Steve Alford Trophy for best endeavour at the Club, which was won by Under 11’s manager James O’Neill.
